Let It Out

Why does it seem like everyone starts freaking out about their scripts when it’s close to a holiday. Patients who are noncompliant with their meds suddenly decide they need them. Then they start freaking out if they don’t have refills but they haven’t had the medication for weeks. Definetly don’t think pharmacists get the recognition we deserve in the healthcare community. Patients have the easiest access to us compared to other healthcare professionals, we are on the “front line” dealing with issues and 99% of things we do aren’t billable to insurance companies. ANYWAYS…….thats my rant, and have a happy new year!
